Yep it was up last Thursday. Nobody knows what's happening. I think LEO might be trying not to rile them up too much in case the kids are still alive. They're afraid to produce them for some reason, and if LEO forces their hand they could end up killing them to make sure LEO doesn't have the chance to question them. That's just a guess on my part.
Surely they talked to Charles' ex wife sometime before the order was issued, so they knew that Lori doesn't think rules apply to her and a court order wouldn't worry her in the least.
I don't think the kids are alive any more. They need to be arrested

yes the mom (I don't like to use that word concerning this woman so maybe we should say egg donor cause she certainly is not a mother ) has given away the kids things including the youngest child s service dog that would definitely point to the children being deceased . Knowing her and her new husbands end of the world philosophy she probably buried them somewhere no one will ever find their bones until years and years later . She is sick and so is the new husband . I hope they bury them under the jail when they finally do get prosecuted . she has put that whole family in emotional torture and that is far worse than physical torture . She and the husband may not get what is coming to them on this earth but I hope the Good Lord gives them their eternal punishment in the hereafter .

Thought I replied the other day, it must have been in the other thread. I highly doubt the kids are alive. She may have gotten away with it longer had they not gotten married so fast after his wife's death.

There has to be some evidence of a crime to arrest the couple. So far, either none has been found or the authorities aren't reporting it for some valid reason or other. Chad Daybell's first wife's body was exhumed and re-examined, but no results have been made public yet.
That's quite reasonable; even if, for example, poison was found in the body, the police would have to have some connection to the poison with Chad Daybell to charge him. Or Lori Vallow Daybell. Evidence has to be linked like a chain, or it's only loose links. One broken link is enough for it to fail.
Under Idaho law, no parent can be forced to display a child to the authorities for any reason that has no supporting evidence. There are some misdemeanors connected to refusing to answer questions asked by law officers, but none have a jail penalty- just a fine. (Of course, failure to pay a fine could possibly result in some jail time, but not for very much time.)
This is exactly how Casey Anthony escaped murder charges on her daughter's death in Florida. She was convicted of at least 5 misdemeanors like lying to a law officer, but she paid her fines and served less than a year for all 5, and is now free as a bird unless she confesses one day.
The child protection laws are not universal; they vary from state to state. In some states, the child comes first, while in other states, the parents come first. Florida and Idaho are examples of the second.
Cases like this are enormously expensive to prosecute. The Anthony case cost the county millions, so for prosecutors, it becomes a choice of spending the money on one unlikely conviction against spending the same money on dozens of likely convictions.
In the case of the Daybells, there is the added fact the kids were actually seen to 2 different states when last seen by others. The boy wasn't actually seen by anyone in Idaho even though he was registered in the local school, and the girl was last seen in Arizona by a friend. The states of Utah, Hawaii and Arizona could also be pulled into this evidence black hole because Lori lived in all of them within the span of a year or a bit more.
There have been many cases where a murder conviction was reached with no physical evidence, but the chain of circumstances and the logic that comes from it has to be so solid no other answer is possible to get a conviction.
This may come, but if it does, it will demand a very long time before they are arrested and tried. Years will go by first if neither breaks or if some related person doesn't come forth.
