I wonder how much of this is due to the pandemic - I've noticed people have very short fuses and are earnestly confrontational a lot more frequently since the onset of coronavirus. Everyone in this story sucks.
Wondering what's in the water there. My sister lives in that area, and she was telling me that someone saw a big snowman kids had made in their front yard and decided to drive up on the lawn with his truck and smash the snowman.
He didn't realize they'd built the snowman over a big old tree stump. Destroyed his truck, lol. At least no one got killed, though.
You know how those things go, it's like a powder keg and you never know what's going to set it off. So it wasn't completely out of the blue, a lot of hatred on each side.
I just came across the actual security camera footage of this incident (with audio) on another website, and wish I hadn't. It's taken from the perspective of the couple's home. The gunman, after shooting both victims with his handgun, goes back to his house to return to the street with a rifle and proceeds to finish off each victim.

It's amazing how far a little common courtesy goes.
And how far a lack of it can be taken.
Don't get me wrong here. I'm certainly not saying they got what they deserved.. But.. It was a pretty dick move to intentionally shovel snow over into a neighbors yard and then get aggressive towards him.
Be nice to each other. Don't attack people. This is America. They might have a gun.
Snow seems to be a test of what kind of person you are. You really get to know your neighbor based on how courteous (or not) they are when they shovel.
