Could be one reason these types of jobs are hard to fill these days.

Surveillance video of the incident provided to 10TV shows the customer hitting Hickey on the side of the face with an open hand, knocking off her glasses and then turning to walk out the door.

“It was just more surprising because it just came out of nowhere,” she said. “I didn’t have any marks and no serious damage or anything.”

Wow! There was no way the manager could have defended herself against that. Nobody saw it coming. I hope they find and charge the customer. I'm glad she didn't have a blade in her hand at the time.

Consequences. There need to be consequences for violent behavior.

If I owned that restaurant I'd be wallpapering the neighborhood with flyers prominently displaying this heifer's face and offering a reward.

Exactly. We just keep accepting this behavior, and it keeps getting worse.

We have a culture of violence in this country. People who believe violence is the first step in conflict resolution. Or in this case will strike out at their victims for no reason at all. The sad part is if this woman is apprehended by the police the worst that she will face are simple battery charges and probation. It's a disgusting commentary on the United States in 2021.

She ”kind of” just hit me, no ”serious marks or anything”.......

She was brutally assaulted and humiliated for no good reason. We all can clearly see that.

Yet she is afraid to tell it like it really was because of the fear of retaliation.

This is where we are now.

I sincerely hope this subhuman pig is identified, arrested and jailed for assault.

That's certainly not the first person that pig ever hit.
Won't be the last, either.

I would hope that everyone she knows shuns and shames her for this. Sadly in this day and I age I fear that many of her peers will see nothing egregious about her behavior.
