Well, now the word is out that the RR companies don't have security on their property. Let the rush begin!
Of course it's related to the mob store invasions. There's no "maybe" about it.

Until your state gets serious and sends in the national guard, and a few of these thugs get hurt or killed, it's only going to increase. Genie can't be put back in the bottle now without major changes.

Happy Sunday!

Lol, the idea that it would deter anyone.

The people doing the looting know:

- They will NOT actually use any force against them

- They will not face much of a punishment even if they are caught

They have no fear of consequences. Crime now pays.

Welcome to the new normal.

I'm pretty sure that robbing trains is a federal violation, not the responsibility of local law enforcement.

Armed guards would do no good. Store security is not allowed to stop, or touch, or talk to, or arrest shoplifters. So all the guards could do would be to watch or else they would be sued or else end up in jail themselves.

Not really, commercial entities should be responsible for some of this. Imagine 90 people forcing their way into a store when you have turnstiles or revolving doors. It might not keep them all out but it would slow them down. And would they even try to break in if the stores secured the $1,000 purses so that you couldn't grab a handful and run? As far as the railroad they have their own police force, it it's inadequate then they need to contract with a private firm or hire more people, and they also might want to see who has access to the manifests because something stinks to high heaven, some of articles have mentioned that only one out of four or five containers were broken into, why is that? Could it be that someone told them which ones to open?

My good friends wife’s uncle kept growing marijuana and getting caught in northern MN. His last time he had a about 2k plants and got 10 years. Had to go to minimum security white collar jail maybe in an old university. They’d watch American Greed and one of the shows the guy was in jail watching with them, he had said it was all pretty correct, and exactly why he was in jail with them.
