Apparently she was targeted by scammers pretending to be her grandson, attorney and bail bondsman. The latter was arrested.

That was risky for grandma. Happy he got arrested.

That is an old scam. Been going on for years. Was on the news when a man "apparently" got a phone call from his grandson, who was actually at his house at the time.
