I don't think the paintings are all that bad. Not what I'd hang in my own house, but I've certainly seen much worse go for that sort of money.

Apparently whoever hired the guard didn't conduct a thorough interview or background check, Maybe he was a diversity hire? You'd think that people hired to protect valuable objects would be more carefully investigated before they were hired.

IMO, he made a big improvement as that painting is horrible. I guess its all personal opinions but I never saw the appeal of talentless stoned wack jobs who cant draw getting there work called "art" and put in museums and sold for millions of dollars.

Calling that crap art is like calling Biden a poet!

How old was the guard, 15?

Reminds me of a job long ago; they hired a teenager on the cleaning crew, and a bunch of graffiti bloomed in the bathroom. The young cleaner insisted that we workers had done it, but got fired anyway.

Sorry, can't stop loling looking at those "doodly eyes."

So his motives are still unknown and probably will never be understood by the rest of humanity.
How sad..
They hired someone who had no respect for art, maybe learning handicapped
Who knows what kind of training he got
Stupid hiring dept
Maybe someone’s relative who had clout to get him hired

Imagine that - the property rights of others don't hinge upon whether or not you don't happen to like the property in question.

Graffiti is a crime because it's done on someone elses property.

I’d bet the painting is worth more now then prior. We all know about, everyone knows about. I’m sorry, but I find it hilarious what he did, it’s way better now. I do realize what he did was wrong too.

I don’t know- staring at that painting all day, every day, seeing no eyes on those faces staring back at me, mocking me, almost- the temptation to just draw them might become irresistable.
