They are black....that is the difference. It won`t happen.
Sure, it will. But do you have anything to back up the race of the individuals? Moreover, do you have anything to support that black service members are not being separated for drug use? I see it happen, so know the notion is a false one.
I don't know. They hadn't released the name when I saw the story. The news is all over the place with this story. Different stations are saying 2 to 5 football players or 5 to seven cadets or 5 cadets, 1 other and 1 female.
Cadets at the Academies are not immune to misadventures. Sad to hear these folks took such a foolish and dangerous path. Hope they all fully recover, but they will all be out of West Point.
I agree 100% with above posts. How many people possess both the extremely rare cerebral AND physical attributes to get into West Point... and then blow it all away like this. It doesn't mean they won't be successful later in life, but that's a couple of wasted admission slots that could have gone to truly dedicated students.
Not all of the cadets fit that description, sometimes all it takes is for your parents to know a senator or congresscritter. I got my nomination the hard way- by enlisting and getting noticed for the right reasons.
