Which is partially why it happens. Humans can be dumb. Improperly trained/inexperienced humans can be even dumber. They make incorrect assumptions about large normally slow-moving livestock and wild animals all the time.

I've been around livestock my whole life. Generally it's a kick, bite or knock-down or fall off. IMO, it's not intentional to kill the person, just the animal preserving it's personal space or perception of a threat. (except maybe a bull who does intend to kill)


There are those exceptions.
