Doesn't matter that it's her child. She has no right to assault another person, especially a helpless child. CPS needs to step in immediately to get the girl into a better home.
This is one of the reasons it is good that involuntary-commitment, beyond a very short amount of time, is hard to do. This type of abuse is probably pretty common in facilities like this.
I wonder why we aren't getting actual investigative reporting articles about this? It looks like it happened in a kitchen. The woman is wearing an apron? Who is the young man who was recording & why hasn't he been interviewed?
I watched the video with my jaw dropped & then had to slam my laptop shut because my giant autistic son saw it & almost put his fist through the screen trying to punch the woman in the video.
Nice job finding that article! It's like the media is afraid to put this on the news or something. I thought maybe "Madeline" was from a book, so it was confusing. That mom needs to be evaluated. She was scary movie evil.
