Good thing he was around. I hope he gets the job he interviewed for. Sad though that the mother was unable to stay on her feet in an emergency.

The baby is that woman's great nephew which explains why she wasn't moving like a spry young mother.

I hope that guy gets the job he applied for. He's a real hero for jumping into action like that.

That woman is overweight, probably doesn't do much excercise and probably has feet or legs or both problems (restless leg syndrome, bunions, periodic and chronic legs pain, etc). Couple that with increase nervousness of the situation.

I was going to say that I hope this woman was the child's grandmother and not his mother as she clearly isn't in the best shape to look after that child.

Bravo to the hero in this story.

It is great story that brightens our day.
It reminds me to buy homeless people a cup of coffee, the next time I see one.

Yeah, people who aren't able-bodied shouldn't be able to have kids, right?

I mean, really, look at the topic, and this is what we're worried about??

Um, what? In this particular situation the lady was being referred to as the baby's mother and she is clearly well past child bearing age which explains why she was moving like an older lady. She's the baby's great aunt.

I'm 57, myself, and I don't feel offended by the fact that no one would ever mistake me for a young mother. That ship sailed some time ago.
