Yes in Florida it was bath salts. We need mental institutions to be brought back!!!!! Stop building apartments and build these instead
Actually, it was found that the Miami guy DID NOT have bath salts in his system. It was just conjecture. The only "illicit drugs" in his system was pot.

Didn't something feed similar happen several years ago, except I think the murderer was high on pcp?
Ok, I researched a little. The person I was thinking of was Rudy Eugene, and authorities thought perhaps he was high on bath salts at the time, although later it was shown he didn't have anything but pot in his system. This was in 2012.
And then in 2016, there was a guy who attacked a couple sitting in their garage by stabbing and killing them. When the police showed up the murderer was chewing on the guy's face.
That 2016 case was FSU student Austin Harrouff. Kid had dinner with his family at a sports bar, no drugs in his system and walked home from the restaurant (2-3 miles). Around the 2 mile mark he walked past these people hanging out in their garage (man cave) and he killed them both/ate the guys face. Cops showed up and he was super strength but again no drugs.
Kid got sent to a mental facility, no jail time:
Doctors determined he suffered a psychosis during a manic episode of bipolar disorder.
