I have one of his smallest carts. While it is heavier than what the camping stores sell, it can be used year-around (I don't but others do) and turns better than any I have used.
All joking aside, for loads up to 60 pounds or so I just take my old mountain bike which has front and rear Surly racks. I generally use two rear panniers but I also have two more for the front if I need to get a lot. Larger, heavy items can sit on top of the racks.
For really heavy loads, or oversize loads, I have a Burly Flatbed trailer. There are other trailers that are rated to even higher weights (mine's about 100 lbs), but so far this one has carried everything I've needed to carry. Back in March I even moved using only my bike and trailer.
Bikes are great fun for recreational use, but they can also be extremely useful.
Is that bike riding on a highway like I think it is?
