I think all of us here have or have had family members that served or are serving in the military.
So we honor each and everyone of them on this day !!!
I am meeting my friend around 9:30 we are going to breakfast and then to do some shopping I need some warmer tops as well as some new underthingys. IMO shopping for underthingys is worse than shoe shopping
I might even start looking for ornaments for the family for Christmas
I will be getting exercise from a lot of walking because we are going to the Town center which is an outdoor mall. Might even park at one end so there is even more walking
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

Happy Vet's Day to all, especially any whose family is currently serving. In other words, give Billy a hug for us, even tho it's long distance, ok??
Making a run to Costco today. There's one that's about 1/2 hour away and another that's about 45 min. away. The closer one, for some reason, has the rudest customers. It has a strange parking lot that's really difficult to get out of, nobody wants to follow the rules of the road and it's a wonder nobody's been killed there. Inside the store, they don't look where they're going, they'd just as soon run into you with their carts as look at you, they barge thru you to get somewhere, don't know how to say excuse me.... Hmph. I could go on and on, but I think I've ranted enough. The jist of it is we're going to the one farther away because I get in a mood just thinking about the closer one!
Before that happens, tho...gotta give the flowers a drink.
Morning all! Happy Veterans Day to all out there, we do appreciate the service to us and our country. Sue I love the pics of your husband with his K-9's, they sure are beauties.
Today will be Denise and I again, hopefully hubby will leave for awhile so I don't have to suffer through him laughing Then just the same ol.......pick up house, a load of laundry and a few phone calls.
Pattie, the Meijer I had by my old house in MI was like that, people would just park their carts and chit chat in the middle of the grocery store, hummm excuse me!
Well that is it I hope all have a wonderful day.
Did the walking dvd and still working on balance and strength.
We got our st. Joseph statue and the directions say that it doesn't matter if you bury him upside down or not and after the house is sold, it doesn't matter if he stays buried or gets dug up. I think I'm going to bury him upside down because that's what I did at my other house. I think it's more to do with the prayer and intention so I'll focus on that.
Happy Veteran's Day and thank you for your service!
Shadow & I went for a nice walk this morning. We were up early so we had some extra time. Tippy Toes wanted everyone up at 5:30 because she wanted to play. Ugh!
The appraiser just left. Everyone cross your fingers.......
A salute to all our amazing Veterans and their families. I am so proud of my hubby!
Went to the Veteran's Day ceremony in town this morning. I froze my you know what off while taking photos. I'm still cold now! There were a lot of people there, and a bunch of school children all waving Old Glory.
Thanks Sandy. My hubby loved each and every K-9 he had, especially the old girl in the photos. She had a real soft spot in both our hearts. She was just one of the dogs that would've taken a bullet for him.
I kinda figured that out by what you had posted Sue, she sure was a beauty! I always stop when I see a 4-legged service dog, whether it is a K-9 police dog or a service 4 legged soldier. They are special and I am glad your hubby had someone that protective.
Evey, toes and fingers crossed but I don't think you need to worry about it, if it has gone this far you are in the clear.
It was a long girls day left at 9:30 didn't get home until 3:30
But we had so much fun
The only thing is because the schools were closed and I guess a few folks had the day off things were very crowded
We also went to Costco I think we have the sister store to Patties the parking lot is nuts and ok is it necessary to park right in front of the sample displays some of us want to move through the area
The only thing I came out with and don't laugh was a cooking magazine I saw it at publix the day before but didn't want to spend $9.99 for a magazine it was 30% off at Costco
I am not sure I mentioned it but the bed drama continues When you sit or kneel on the bed it groans so I called the guy who delivered it because he said he was the warranty guy. He called me while I was out to tell me he was stopping by around 4 to bounce on the bed
He said yup we have a noise so he is going to fix it with a swap. I told him I didn't want to deal at all with the idiot store manager and the look on his face told me I wasn't the first one to feel that way
He was really nice so hopefully this will be resolved once and for all
I loved seeing the big dog pictures It reminds me how much I miss having a big dog around
Pattie, Sue has pictures of Rob and his K-9 on Facebook.
At least this guy is working with you Karla, although if the manager is this horrible why is he still with the company, especially in today's economical times.
