It's bandaged up now but it still feels strange not to have it there. LOL

Forgot to answer this - I've heard that cats can use their back claws to defend.

hey all
Just got back from my adventures
PT was tough really painful even with a pain pill but according to PT girl it is normal

We exchanged the DVR/cable box and the one they gave us had a problem with the HDMi input so after a very frustrating call to the (and I use this term loosely) customer service we had to take it back for another one**shakes head**
I would love to put comcast in the same room as P/T

Lisa we leave a week from tomorrow
I think the weight loss is because the pain meds curb my appetite

Yay on the port removal Cheryl

hey Joanna

Pattie what a nice service tech that he told you it was a easy to do it yourself project. Not many would be on the customers side

Sandy what kind of muscle relaxers did they put him on ? They gave me flexerl(sp) and wow lol good night gracie 30 mins after taking it

ok off to ice my shoulder then I have some phone calls to make

Humm so many of you saying she can defend herself with her back claws........wow I did not know that, no wonder she meows her way down stairs she is telling me "Grandma I can take care of myself". She is out now, but stays close enough to the house that I know if she is in trouble.

Cheryl glad the deed is done! I dont' like strange things in my body either. I had to have a port when they were expanding my improved chest after my mastectomy and I hated it! Having one for a year would be crazy to me!

Hi Joanna, I can make it 2 miles and that is all. But I am getting better at keeping up with the low impact cardio that I do, I don't fall over on the couch when I am finished

Sorry I confused everyone on the little people, I guess it is because I live with kids that I say that. No not a new reality tv show, although I would have been funny on candid camera yesterday I am sure my face was shocked!

Karla I had to look at the package, Bob is on cyclobenzaprine but I am guessing it is generic for flexeril because that is what the nurse told me they ordered him.

Well my day is down the drain without so much as a walk unless you count grocery shopping walking. Tomorrow I will have to exercise or walk to make up for today.

Gotta get, it is already 3:30 and I have not sent off an e-mail thanking that lady for my interview.

To answer your question Sandy about your post the other day - the medical staff here wants people to keep in their ports for at least a year after finishing chemo. Some keep it in for longer but I was anxious to get mine out. I don't like 'foreign' things in my body.

Ya'll have a good rest of the day. I'm probably going to take a nap pretty soon. Can't seem to stay awake.
Congrats on your port removal. Take it easy.

I did my hour on the treadmill, mowed the front and back lawn, and just got back with hubby from shoveling gravel along the sides of the driveway We still have more to go but it started raining. Now I have a headache to nurse

Lol Connie they probably thought we were there with our grandchildren

Lisa do you have seasonal allergies? Only reason I ask is my daughter gets them when the season's change. Maybe you might try a mask when you are mowing the lawn, might help.

I am trying to critique my facebook page and I think I am winning, I hate what they have done.

I was fine mowing. I got the headache after I was moving up and down shoveling gravel. But now it is subsiding
