Well I don't get the day off Karla! Morning ladies just another post to wish you all a happy valentines day!

Of course we all know my exercise today will entail all sorts of lifting, shoving, pulling, and placing x 2 days! LOL.

My little sweet pea, Gracie, decided to leave the property a little bit of her attitude, she chewed the corner at the top of the stairs! Needless to say I had to take a trip to Lowes this morning to get the spackle to fill up her present. I was not a happy momma last night

See you all later. I guess cable has not turned us off yet!

Oh Karla you will get a kick out of this. I sent the property manager an e-mail with our timeline included on when we would be surrendering the keys, etc. I had a very professional paragraph about the professionalism (or lack of) that should be extended to tenants. Well I finally heard from him, and guess what he said "I am unaware that you have been trying to contact me". I just shook my head and let it go but man oh man I am writing a review with pictures enclosed to the corporate office! I am glad we took so many pictures now, I have a feeling that the unit will be gone through with kid, white gloves!

Sure, sure, he didn't know you were trying to get hold of him...

Oh boy did I make a mistake yesterday. I was so tired when I got back from the CAT scan, etc. I had some coffee. Figured as tired as I always am, it wouldn't affect me getting to sleep. Wrong! Finally, I got up and took some of the diphenhydramine [benadryl]! Figured it was worth a shot. Finally got to sleep, but boy was it late.

I still can't get this crap with Kohl's straightened out. The site is telling me that my security verification info doesn't match their records. This is stuff like my LAST NAME, date of birth, zip, things that haven't changed in decades-or ever! Then some person from Kohl's customer service sent me an email saying HE had used my info and it worked. Well, I responded to that and haven't heard back yet. Have to call again. I've emailed several times and called. This is ridiculous.

Happy Valentine's day.

Hi, gang.

Well, the cortisone shot helped, but I still have some discomfort. I see him in a week. SInce he said I could walk, Len and I walked over to the Home Show that our men's club held in the Clubhouse today. So I did manage to get two miles in. It's odd; the past couple of days, about 4:00, I start feeling like I'm catching that stupid cold/bronchitis thing that's going around. So I take a Sudafed and, by morning, I feel better. I don't get why it hits right around 4:00. I'm feeling pretty lousy right now.

Sandy, after the property mgr. told you he wasn't aware that you were trying to reach him, did you tell him "Yeh, well, the check's in the mail!"

Connie, I can't do coffee after noon any more. I guess it's an age thing.

Made some ham/veggie/barley soup today. We had that and salad for dinner. It's only 6:30 and I'm ready to go to bed.

See you all tomorrow, I hope.

I know...our blue car now has yellow tiger stripes. Even Sudafed hasn't helped.
