The doctor asked me how I tolerate pain-I said, well I try to avoid it...I mean how do you answer that???
Well, if you are able to withstand pain, the doctor will write one type of pain medication. If you are not able to withstand pain, the doctor will write something stronger.
Tell him you'll hold his precious jewels in one hand while he works on you and if you feel you're in more pain than you should be, he will be too! LOL
I like your way of thinking! Love the story of your wedding day.
Good luck with the surgery Fuzzy. Everything will be fine.
I've got a box full of hostas waiting to go in the ground. However, mother nature put a spanner in the works and threw a few bolts of lightning my way! I actually think that she has it in for all my gardening efforts this year Managed to get my second walk of the day under my belt.
So, as I suspected, I need the surgery on my gums-they knock you out twice for 4 hours each, and I hear it is really painful. Not to mention the fact that we don't have any kind of dental insurance, and we both need a lot of stuff done. It's kind of sickening.

Oh, I missed this. fuzzy, good luck with the surgery. My advice to you about your pain tolerance is tell him you have none. Better to have the best and cut a pill in half if need be then to be left in pain with not enough pain relief.

we have to be related I have suggested this too !!
another of my favorites is to reply when they ask this question
"have you had this procedure performed on yourself ? No! hmmm then your just guessing on the level of pain"
remember Mild discomfort = pain so if they are saying it is painful yup ask for the strongest they can give
sending you lots of fast healing wishes fuzzy and as little discomfort as possible
