It took me six days to check to see if anyone started this. We have had colds since Thanksgiving. Thanks for the thread. I will be back as soon as we get past our birthdays. By the looks of my stomach, I need to have started with you on the first.

I did have a catchy title for the January Food Journal, but right now it is not coming to me. I am going to be working on finding choices that are as fat free as possible. I am so tired of taking medication. My goal in 2011 is to get medication free. My doctor says I can probably do it if I really work on it.

Breakfast: Coffee and 1% milk
2 strawberry eggo waffles--I can eat the strawberry ones without anything on them.
banana

This is still my food formula for the day:
Milk
Starch
Fruit

Milk
Protein
1 cup cooked vegetables
Starch

Afternoon snack of fruit

Yogurt or leftover meat from lunch or was that dinner. I think these meals turn into Breakfast, Dinner, and Supper; back to my parents way of eating.
Salad--1/4 lettuce wedge if nothing else available with 2 T. Harris Teeter Italian free dressing
(My daughter told me a lettuce wedge is not food, but I love it with the dressing on it.)
Starch
Fruit
Milk

Three fat choices during the day mostly to season the vegetables.
Fat choice
Fat choice
Fat choice

Eight cups of water throughout the day.
Milk is usually taken with coffee for me.
