Ditto, same here, still not a one. I will admit the urge still comes, but it fades almost as fast as it hits me.

I smoked a pack a day. I woke up one morning and my lung had collapsed. I will never forget that pain. I was unable to stand up. They took me to the hospital where they inserted a drain into my chest so that the fluid that was in my chest cavity would drain. They also put me on Demerol to relieve the intense pain. There was a young nurse, probably just out of school that was turning about 6 shades of green watching them insert that drain. I did eventualy recover. I never did learn what caused it.

During this time I made the decision that I would never smoke again. That was 60 years ago and I don't miss it.

My sil didn't wake up, he picked up first cig at 10, and we lost him at age 55.
