Good morning! How is everyone? I wanted to make this day a "special thank you" Day to all of you that contribute to this food forum. You all are a great bunch and without you this just wouldn't be the place that it is today... http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/Frogthankyou.gif (broken link)...a great place to come and keep track of what we eat but more importantly a great support system for everyone. I, personally don't know what I would do without you gals... Last night my 10 year old, along with my husband who coaches his team had a basketball game against the undefeated team and we won... http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/cheer.gif (broken link)...yep, thats me, the competitive little thing that I am. Imagine when he is is high school? Coffee with suctrose and soymilk......have a great day! http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/Thursday-LMG3.gif (broken link) Jeannie

I just had breakfast and it is time to fix my dh's lunch. I wish I could say I had just the usual, but I had shedd spread on my strawberry waffles, and it didn't taste any better??
Coffee and milk and banana besides. I had trouble going to sleep last night. The election isn't going my way. Like I have said before, I don't think I think the same as the average US citizen. Considering the mess we are in, maybe they should start thinking like me. I bet you all think like that too--that they should think like you. If we let them have a basketball shootout, who do you think would win?
Maybe we still are children. I am sure my children would agree with that. I think I cause them a great deal of flustration and it is just starting. I was a good child, but I am planning to be a naughty senior adult.

LOL NCN - a naughty senior adult. Don't be too hard, isn't it more fun to be a nice and cuddly and cute grandma???
Jeannie, good your son's team won. It's time it gets warmer so I can take Miguel to watch his daddy play soccer... I love that too all the cheering and booing...
Half a piece of poppy-seed-cake at 10:30 a.m. and I can tell you it had a thick fat chocolate topping - yummie!!!
Hubby cooked lunch today so we had mashed potatoes and filet of redfish. Actually he doesn't like to cook at all but it seems he's learning pretty good (his mom didn't think it necessary to teach him cooking) and helps more often and tries new things from time to time...
The second half of the piece of cake went in right after lunch.
Dinner was already at 5 p.m. b/c of my classes. I had two slices of dark bread with tomatoe cream cheese and a piece of puff pastry. I guess I had enough cake for the next days...
Anyhow, I'm pretty hungry now. It's already 10:10 p.m. but hubby will prepare me another slice of bread. Isn't he great?!?!
a bowl of whole wheat pasta with turkey meat sauce
if I have a craving later I may have a cup of reduced sugar hot chocolate.
Night all........
