Just got up and made my coffee. No banana today. Glad you are getting a day to "rest." Went to bed at 9 last night and got up at 9 this morning. It is cold out, but my bones need the water, I think. I don't think I would make it in NJ. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Coffee and milk
strawberry yogurt

I am going to google Russian tea and then get dressed for the pool. We usually go to Harris Teeter right after water exercises. I need the ingredients so I can make more tea.

Izzy, you are very lucky lately!!! Congrats!

Brrrr Jeannie. Snow... Hope it won't come here too!

It's always the same here, no breakfast again. Had to share my chocolate milk with DS. Once tried he gets crazy every time I take the bottle out of the fridge And it's so cute to see him with chocolate all over his face...

Lunch was Bavarian style with fried sausage, cooked potatoes and sauerkraut.

Snack was a pizza baguette and I'm having my dinner right now b/c I'm hungry and hubby is not. I have two slices of dark bread and a left over sausage in slices on the bread. Very yummie so hubby takes a bite or two...

Off to watch TV with my mom now.
See you later.

Congratulations Miquel's Mom and Izzy. I believe Jeannie is the most popular person here though.

I found several recipes for Russian Tea, but I am really looking to cut the calories on this product. So I discovered Crystal Light today. It would be great if the Crystal Light people would make a Russian Tea flavor, but they do have flavors that are in Russian tea like Classic orange, lemonade, and Tea.

So I bought all three flavors and am trying to get the right combination to make the Russian tea flavor I like. My first endeavor was to put equal amounts of the little crystal light tubs together and add 1 teaspoon each of cloves and cinnamon. It had too much tea flavor and was a little bitter, so I either used too much mixture or I have too many spices. Or I may not have enough cloves, since I can usually taste the cloves in Russian tea and I could not distinguish that taste in the tea I made.

So I went back and looked at the recipes and they seem to have more orange flavor and pretty equal tea and lemon or maybe a little less lemon. I added two more Crystal Light orange flavored tubs to the mixture. I will try that with my next cup. I didn't realize there was any spice besides cloves in Russian Tea.
So far the recipe is: 1 tub crystal light instant tea
1 tub crystal light lemonade
3 tubs crystal light classic orange.
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon--I can never remember how to spell that.
