Good morning! Yes, that is my word for the day, bargaining, which is what my kids are doing the last few days. They seem to have accepted the up and coming move, but now it is, "can we come back to NJ for the basketball dinner?" "if so n so has a sleep-over party and I'm invited can we come back for that?". I told them its hard to imagine but a year from now, they will be very happy in their new place and these questions won't be questions any longer. Tea with sugar in the raw......have a great day! Jeannie

Good afternoon Jeannie. How's the packing going?
I can understand your kids although I never moved in my life. I would have a hard time moving now.

Do you already have a job in NC or do you apply when coming there?

Lunch was rice with thin sliced chicken breast and veggies Chinese style. Very spicy, very hot and very yummy. I also had a small chocolate pudding with vanilla sauce afterwards.

Off to school in an hour. Hopefully hubby will prepare two slices of bread for me to take with me.

Have a great day all!
Diana

OK, maybe I am just whining, but this weight watchers point system sucks! There has to be more to eat than what I am allowed! I will read more. There has to be some "free" foods I am allowed to eat to fill up. BAH!
2 slices of bread....That's 4 points. I only get 24 points a day! I tell ya, it's a conspiracy.

OK, I feel better now

Missmousern, I already heard a lot about the weight watchers program and mostly all are satisfied with the results. I guess you have to get used to counting the points and then finding the right things so you can eat enough and also pretty varied.

I keep my fingers crossed for you!

well Diana, there hasn't been much packing yet, believe it or not. I keep thinking until I sign those papers March 31st, anything could happen. I guess I better do something soon though. No not yet, applied a few places but only looking to work part-time, I hope.

missmouse, shop around a little bit. I'm pretty sure that weight watchers makes a bread that is only 1 or 2 points.

Missmousern,I have friends that gone on Weight Watchers, they are too very satisfied. But try eating half of what you eat,you would lose weight too. Like I am losing a lot of the holiday fat. Eat less sugar. no coke, less bread, less pasta

I am going to take a walk first this morning,it gorgeous out there!

Missmousern, whitewheat is one point for two slices because it has a lot of fiber. There is a ham that has one point for two slices (30 calories per slice and practically no fat). So for two points you could have a ham sandwich. I usually have that for lunch though. I don't go by what they teach you to eat, I choose my own. I also divide my points up three ways and allow 1/3 of the points per meal. Today I am saving part of my points from breakfast to lunch because I want a Hoagie Roll that is 300 calories but 5 points because it has lots of fiber. My problem is that I have learned so many neat foods that is less points than the calories that I may be eating too much.
Banana and coffee and milk for breakfast
Lunch will be a brown steak roll like they serve at Outback (I buy these at the Flowers Bread Store near Indian Trail.) two or four slices of ham, lettuce, tomato and an onion if I have one. Coffee and milk. I will probably have a pear for afternoon break.

Missmousern, If you get really hungry you can have a foot long veggie without cheese at Subway for 8 points. The cheese would add another two points if I remember correctly. That was one of my favorites when I was working. I find that I have to fill up just one time per day
