Good morning! Although the forecast for the next several days is rain, rain, and more rain, the sun is shining at the moment so I'm going to enjoy it while I can. I think the next forecast for sun is next weekend and of course I'll be working then. So, what is on the schedule for everyone today? A couple of ballgames today and a quick clean-up in time for our new realtor's visit. Tea with sugar in the raw and soymilk......have a wonderful Saturday! Jeannie

I made a picture of my rose bush and if it turns out good I will share it with you. We still have the old fashioned camera that you have to wait for the pictures.

Coffee and milk 1%
2 strawberry waffles
banana

NCN, thanks for the hushpuppies info. Will google that...

Just wanted to drop in and say hi b/c I'm already on my way to the movies and I don't think I'll be back on tonight.

Went to my grandmother's birthday brunch this morning. It was delicious and I had way too much to eat.
Cooked lunch very late b/c of that and we had lunch (ground meat wrapped in cabbage, baked in the oven and then gratinated with sour cream) at 4:30 p.m. Now I'm fed up but maybe I'll have some popcorn or nachos at the movies.

See you tomorrow.

Take care
Diana

I made chicken barbecue for dinner with 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, roasted in the oven. I pulled and chopped them into pieces and added 1 1/2 Cups of Sonny's barbecue sauce that I bought at Sam's. Dh said it is delicious. The chicken had only 3 grams of fat for 4 oz. and the sauce has no fat. I shredded a cabbage and salted it for the slaw substitute. I think I will go eat some too. I wasn't hungry after cooking so much. I am resting up now after the trek to the compost bin to throw in the cabbage scraps. Hey, we're rolling! It was a difficult trip. I was trying not to drop the scraps more than the two times I did drop them and the cat just kept parking in front of me.

wow. My husband has boys night out and what do I do? Fall asleep when the kids do. I had a little penne with butter last night and some ice cream. Not too healthy I know. Going to start todays thread...
