I love horses. As soon as DS's a little bit older we'll have a trip to a horse ranch and have a very nice farm vacation. DH never rode on a horse before so he really needs to experience it, it's just a great feeling.

And Lippizaner are such beautiful creatures!

Jeannie, hope you enjoyed the bowling. It's been a long time since we went the last time. Thanks for the reminder, makes me plan a trip to the bowling center some time soon...

Yesterday we had a very spontaneous trip to the zoo. I asked my parents (b/c they have three weeks off now) if they had anything planned for the day and as they had not I told them we could go to the zoo with DS (DH was working again ). So my mom told me to ask my grandparents, too.
So I went with my parents, grandparents and DS.
It was really great. I thought DS would be too small but he's very curious and had to check out everything, he even petted the pigs and goats - very sweet. We did a lot of walking b/c it's the biggest zoo around here and it took us 4 hours to take a look at all the interesting critters.

half a white wheat bun with cream cheese for breakfast
a cookie
a small bratwurst and half a bun for lunch

dinner was a small piece of salmon fried with sesame in a tiny bit of oil along with some potatoes and dill sauce...

Diane, you would love our NC Zoo. The animals are roaming in their natural surroundings. I wore a leopard print dress there once. Won't do that again. I thought some of the animals may have wanted me for breakfast or lunch. LOL

Sunday morning breakfast: coffee and milk
2 eggo waffles--no banana this morning, time to to back to the grocery store. We will do that on the way back from church.

Good morning! Well, I got a little carried away with my sugar free ice pops last night, but I'm sure it could have been worse. Diana, what a great idea going to the zoo. NCN, I'll have to find out more about the NC zoo when we arrive. My kids would love it! Going to start today's thread...
