Something else to try, Elston, is fruit cocktail and vanilla yogurt. I normally buy whatever type of fruit cocktail I like (extra cherries, etc.), then I buy additional canned fruit, based on what I'm in the mood for. Then I get Yoplait vanilla yogurt (about 4-5 little containers). I strain the fruit (get the syrup out of it) then put it in a container, add the vanilla yogurt, mix it all up. Even my kids love it. It's sweet, and not too many calories. Not for everyone, I realize, but it's a change for those who might want to try it.

I really like yogurt, even plain; with fresh fruit...even better--your idea of draining the canned packed in its own juices fruit sounds good. I am only into this 2 days but already have adapted to the no sweeteners....I dont miss sugar or honey on my cereal....I thnk Total and Cherrio's have their own sugar added in processing anyway. I am going to go look for the Wednesday thread. ttfn

My dinner wasn't so low fat. I had a serving of maccaroni with some tomatoe sauce and a slice of fried sausage and nearly a quarter of a pineapple for dessert.

Had an apple for a snack.

cooking rosemary chicken for din din with broccli florets and harvard beets.
Got sugar free fat free pudding.............Yum.

Elston, I have tried uncle sam cereal which is really pretty good and very low sugar. I defrost some strawberrys and mix with my cereal for a tasty breakfast.
