New Ulm's getting hit hard-ice and snow - schools closed already. My hubby too has pix where the drifts were over the telephone poles and they had tunnels dugs in able to get into stores.

For the life of me why anyone would live here is beyond me-a lousy 5 months of nice and 7 of misery.

Lacey, I love the snow, but any temperature below 30 is too cold.
Jeannie, my mother used to tell us about walking to school down the creek on the ice in the mountains of North Carolina. We never know what to expect around here. One year may be like Spring and Summer all year and then the next year, who knows? But it is not usually below 20 degrees except in the mountains.

Lacey, Jeannie brought cold weather, now if you bring snow we may have snow for Christmas for the first time in umpteen years. I am sure there is a record somewhere of when we last had a white Christmas.

I just checked and the Charlotte area has a 1% chance of having a white Christmas. We live further South than that and sometimes only get rain and ice when they get snow.

Snow, what a beautiful thing. Haven't had real snow and keeping it for a few days in years. It's just too warm - in the high 20s or low 30s. And mostly after we had a little bit of snow it gets warmer again.
I wish this year we'll have a white Christmas and go out with a sleigh with DS.

If not - maybe we'll have a short trip to the Hartz mountains at the end of Feb. and pray for snow there...

Dinner will be 2 boiled eggs, some potatoes and mustard sauce.

Lunch was good old Campbell's tomatoe soup with a dash of garlic, sprinkle of parm cheese and 5 saltines.

Mr. L had 2 slices of pizza, yogurt, 2 milky ways and an ice cream sandwich!

I feel so good today! This is what I had to finish up Veteran's Day.
Healthy Choice Chicken and rice with leftover potato slices added.
Apple
Coffee and milk
Then I went shopping and found a bag that started out at $65 and with all the discounts it was under $20.
Then I bought groceries and Subway is next door to the grocery store. I had planned to do spaghetti, but there was a $5 special on a new grilled chicken foot long that had the same ingredients as the spaghetti I had planned to make. Wallah! Dinner was that. Or 1/2 that for each of us. The only problem is that there was no nutrition information on their website and I had to guestimate the points.
Add coffee and milk
2 pearson patties
Another coffee and milk
