Good morning ladies.

Happy May and Happy Friday. Looks like a rainy weekend for us but at least we are out of the freezing temps.

I have overindulged a little this week so I need to get back on track.

So far I had 1 cup of grapefruit and a small yogurt. Later I will have egg beaters and 1/2 ww pita.

Lots of leftover chicken to work on with veggies.

Have a great weekend.

Good morning Jeannie, Lisa, Lacey, Diana, Izzy and anyone who stops by.

It is packing day at our home. Mr. VA is packing up his office to send back to the company. WhooHoo! Then we have to buy a new lawnmower. He saw one on sale yesterday at Lowe's, so that will be our next trip. The bonus with the mower will be a cart behind it. I have plans for that cart. I suggested that maybe he should check into a lawn service instead.

I hope Lacey is all right.

large Coffee and milk
pear
peanut bar

Hi NCN-I'm great-all tests (even PAP) negative and it's a relief.

Happy you're getting to "pack up" and hope Mr. VA's handling it well.

We have a "lawn guy"-it's well worth it as we have 1/2 ac and Mr. L's not the lawn guy he used to be!

Lacey, I really think a lawn service would be better for us too, but he is getting paid for 11 more weeks and if he wants to take one part of that and buy a riding mower, I will go along. That is 11 more paychecks than we were expecting. I don't expect him to handle this well at all. We are talking about a super workaholic. One good sign though is that he is shredding his computer instruction books. We have a forty year collection of those. He shredded enough to use as packing to mail the electronic equipment back. I should have a lot more space in our little house soon. Lacey, I am getting the feeling you know how our life is right now. Huge adjustment. I am happy as a lark. I think it will be easier for him when he gets to drive again and that should be soon. In the meantime he can ride around our 1.25 acre yard on the soon to be new lawnmower. The road right-of-way turns it into about 1.5 acres. We don't own the right-of-way, but we have to mow it.

Preparing lunch is so much easier without having to go by the clock. I am really loving this. I am hoping to get this to rub off on him.

Baked breaded tilapia
turnip greens
hushpuppies
orange
coffee and milk

Judi- So glad your tests went well.

Izzy- I wish I could send you some of our rain.

NCN- You must be so excited spending all day with DH. I love being with my DH all day. Good for you on the lawn mower. It will give Mr. VA something to "have" to do each week. Sometimes it's hard to come crashing down after being a workaholic. My DH tells me all the time we have to "accomplish" something everyday. He means some kind of work or project. Unfortunately that's not always possible. Sometimes we just have to chill which we are not good at, lol.

NCN-he'll adjust just give him time and be patient. At least this happened when the weather's decent and not winter (especially here).
