Good morning! Lots of rain in our forecast for the next 4 days with a beautiful sunny Mother's Day in our future. NCN sends her best and will be back with us in a few days. Everything is fine. This week is Nurse's Week and my company is generous enough to buy lunch out for all the nursing staff in all of the offices today. Coffee with sugar in the raw and no fat cream......happy Wednesday! It's been raining here for days. We packed up the lawn mowers and went to our other property yesterday to mow and the skies opened up on us. We are trying so hard to keep up but we just can't seem to catch a break.
Anyway, coffee so far. We have to run to town this morning so maybe a yogurt before we go.
It's been windy and rainy all day, perfect weather to do something inside. Yesterday the furniture store called to tell us that all our living room furniture arrived and can be brought and built up next Friday. We've been waiting for them since mid February so I'm really excited now. Today I started unpacking all the bookshelves and sorted through all the drawers. Boy, there's so much in there, I just can't believe what someone collects over the years.
Tomorrow I'll have some more time to put away the dishes and glasses so that it is finished by the weekend. Then DH only has to put away the shelves and other things and we have to paint the walls.
Breakfast: some chocolate
Lunch: a small bowl of fried rice with chicken breast / leek / carrots
Dinner: shared two wraps with DS (stuffed with salad, cucumber, tomatoes, French dressing, a slice of fried sausage, molten cheese)
