Lacey, you are going to love this. I have no idea what a project in the Bronx is unless you are talking about an apartment or housing development. I may google that to find out. I have never lived any place that didn't have trees. I have seen places on TV that didn't have trees. I was born on 100 acre farm and Dad bought another 50 acre farm when I was in the third grade and we moved closer to town--from 20 miles out to 10 miles out of a town that had about 5,000 people.

Hi NCN-yes it was Parkchester in the Bronx and in it's heyday it was beautiful. Many playgrounds, parks, trees, beautiful apartments. My grandparents and an aunt also had apartments there. Much shopping like Macy's, food stores, etc.
