Morning all-who can believe it's Aug. already? Plus it's dang cold and windy here, low 50's and only to reach 60.

Yesterday lunch was a slice of pizza at the casino.

Dinner-wasn't hungry so fruit salad

Happy Satyrday all.

Your weather sounds refreshing to me today. I know what you mean though. I hope your house sells soon and you don't have to move in the Winter.
In celebration of August I am starting a new diet. I listed it on another post, but I am just now starting it. My plans are to stick to it for a month just to give it a chance. Hope it works.

Breakfast is yogurt, fruit, and if the yogurt is only one point I get coffee and milk too.
Lunch is Meat, salad with 2 T. Olive garden dressing
Afternoon snack is fruit.
Dinner is meat and bread, Cooked vegetable with one T. margarine or butter, raw vegetables as wanted and a fruit.
Bedtime snack is yogurt and fruit.

Breakfast this morning was vanilla low fat yogurt, banana, coffee and 1% milk. Doing good so far.

Lunch was mesquite chicken breast with salad of lettuce, tomato, celery, onion, cucumber and two tablespoons of olive garden dressing. I had a small amount of cantalope with the meal too. Water to drink

3 egg whites and 1 egg yolk fried in the grease of one slice bacon. I will just double the eggs and cut it into half. I used 2 slices of bacon as base for 1 pound of frozen stir fried vegetables--onion, mushrooms, peas in the pod and carrots. It was delicious and considering the amount I ate, I will try to not eat anything else today. Drink was coffee and milk.

I just kept eating stir fry and giving more of my eggs to Mr. VA. He had four small turkey sausages (One was supposed to be mine) and the end slice of bread. I just can't eat meat type things when all that good stir fry is there. This stir fry was exactly the right amount of done. That is so hard to do.

Maybe I need to write that combination down for another day. I love going to Harris Teeter on Sunday and getting a roasted chicken.
