Good morning! I'm not sure but I think this time change was an adjustment for me. Yesterday I dragged all day at work and last night I slept like a baby. Hopefully back to normal today. So, whats on your schedule for today? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk so far......happy Tuesday! Jeannie

Morning Jeannie-agree the time change wreaked havoc yesterday-felt like a zombie and slept great last night.

We had Papa Murphy's Thin De-Lite pizza for dinner-delicious.

Breakfast will be the usual. Nails at 10 and then maybe lunch out.

Dinner-navy bean soup I made yesterday, bread for Mr. L w/it.

Have to use safety pins on the waist band of my new cords!

Lacey, double wow! You are incredible. Hope you don't get any high winds when you are out walking. It would blow you away.

Coffee and milk
banana
one point yogurt

I got mixed reviews on the casserole I took to our American Legion meeting last night. I commented to one lady that I was still working on the casserole and would like any comment. She agreed that it needed something else, but said she was able to eat it. About that time a teenager came back and got a whopping second helping?? I was close to the end of the food line and it was just about half gone, but when I packed to go home it was about 7/8 gone. I think more than one must have had second helpings. I don't know about you, but when I am not sure about a food I will try a small amount the first time and then go back for more.

Started out with a large package of wide noodles. Added two small cans of chicken--bought these at Sam's and usually use it for chicken salad. Then I added 2 cans of cream of mushroom and a non-diluted can of healthy choice chicken noodle soup. I added garlic cheese sprinkles to the chicken. I got one bite of chicken that was a little chickeny tasting when I ate mine, so I have decided next time to use one can of chicken and use cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, and cream of celery and I think it will be absolutely delicious. I think the chickeny taste came from the chicken noodle soup because I have never gotten that from the canned chicken and I have had weird tastes from the chicken in the chicken noodle soup. I will let you know. I won't be cooking it again for at least two months.

So if you want to try it:
one large package of short cut wide egg noodles (prepared using package directions.)
1 can chicken--drain juice and cut into small pieces with a spoon.
1 cream of chicken soup, no water added
1 cream of mushroom, no water added
1 cream of celery soup, no water added
Sprinkle with garlic salt.
Add shredded cheese on top if wanted. It looked a little naked without cheese. I have just sprinkled on a garlic cheese flavor from the spice section at Sam's. I can't find any more. This is what I have been adding to tilapia when I steam it. It makes tilapia taste like Texas toast. I put it in the oven on 350 and left it long enough to take a shower and get dressed. LOL It was about 45 minutes.

I purposely did not add vegetables because we were serving mostly men and I didn't think they would eat a vegetable casserole.

Time to get ready to go vote and then we will go to bingo. I had an eye appointment and the doctor's office cancelled it. That made me feel good. He mush not be too worried about my eyes if my appointment can be cancelled. I am rescheduled for January which is what I wanted in the first place. This is too busy a time of year to be going to the doctor.

Good evening ladies!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm glad Halloween isn't very common over here. Only two small groups of children came over trick or treating while we were still at home.

I'm pretty lazy these days and not much on CD. Work has me sitting infront of the PC all day long so I prefer going to bed early and reading a bit. It might also be the darkness outside, I'm constantly tiered...

3 slices white wheat toast with cream cheese
potatoe gratin
half a yogurt
1 wrap with a little salad and 2 chicken nuggets

Okay, off to bed (it's only 7:45 p.m. lol)
Take care
G'night
Diana
