Morning all. We are solidly iced in. A lone car just went crawling fown our street and it took them forever to just pass our house. I bet their knuckles will be white for awhile.

Planned ahead for this and we will be hunkered and cozy.

AiAngel-could be the January blues. Think spring. This winter has taken a toll on us all.

Breakfast was the usual yog/fruit

Lunch-Healthy Request soup. Love the French Onion.

Dinner-either making a big pot of chicken soup or spiral ham/sweet potatoes mashed w/marmalade and a veggie.

Hugs all.

Good afternoon and glad the rain stopped in California, but I just saw it on the weather map. Judi it is your time and our time is coming. It looks like a bow through the center of the Lower 48. This thing is going to hit us all. Our mountains depend on this for snow to ski on, but all we will probably get is rain or ice. I haven't seen any snow this Winter except on TV. People in the mountains keep sending in pictures. Yesterday it was a valley of iced trees in Ashe County. Beautiful!

My breakfast and lunch will be white. Just making up for having no snow. LOL

Coffee and milk
banana and pear salad

2 cookies for snack

Middle of the afternnon meal will be breaded Italian chicken breast and mushroom gravy which is just undiluted cream of mushroom soup. I bake them together. Yum! Yum!

Dinner will be a tossed salad of lettuce, onion, cucumber and whatever else I see in the refridgerator and Texas toast.

NCN hope it's not as bad as this when it gets there.

Snowing like crazy now-and blowing.

Just baked my sweet potatoes and mashed them with butter, allspice, orange marmalade, salt/pepper and a dash of bourbon.

Very strange! all this rain but hardly any snow out there Maybe the temps was not low enough. After the rain, everyone decided to come out! ,lines and traffic everywhere, just like Christmas. It' was crazy!

Have an In-n-OUt burger for lunch, but with a lettuce wrap,no buns. Healthier that way.

Dinner was early, had a fried halibut fish and salad.
