We are looking to buy a house in Southlake. The house has only 2 garages, while other houses in the neighborhood has 3. Will it be a problem when we resell? How much value does a 3rd garage add?

If you're asking the question, other buyers are going to ask the same question. As long as you're not paying the same price as a 3 car garage house, and you sell the house lower than the other 3 car garage houses, you're fine. You can't buy lower than comps and try to sell higher than comps later.

For appraisal purposes, the amount most appraisers would use for a 3rd car garage (not tandem) would be $7500.

Good to know, my husband and I just bought a house with a 3 car garage, which was a requirement for us.
