I'm trying to get information on the different festivals that take place around Dallas throughout the year. Which festivals are the most popular with the largest attendace? Which festivals are new but seem to be very promising? And when do they take place?

Murphy Maize Days - Murphy Maize Days

Small town festival. Car show, corn cook-off, scarecrow contest, huge kids zone, games, vendors, and music ending with a big fireworks show.

TC gave a good list - for something you might not expect, go to Halloween on Cedar Springs and St. Patrick's Parade on Greenville. Also the Easter Parade and Symphony Concert at Lee Park.

Bedford Blues Days on Labor Day Weekend got raves when it was first in operation--then couple of years ago bad weather and city finance problems mean a hiatus--
it is in business again though--
going to have two really good blues musicians this year as headliners--Robert Cray Saturday and Taj Mahal on Sunday
