Hi all. A friend and I are looking for a place to hang out and have some fun tonight, but we're completely out of the loop. We want music, can be a band or dj, eclectic crowd (we don't want to feel out of place, we are mid-40s but FUN!). I've been looking through guidelive, but I just can't get a feeling for anything. Oh, and we are in Dallas, please no Plano or northern suburbs. We like going to eat around Henderson, but have done that a bit much lately and want to try something else. Any ideas? Thanks!

You should try the Balcony Club above the Lakewood Theatre, they have live Jazz on the weekends, good times.

Balcony would be great - also you could start off at Times Ten Winery or eat at Matt's Rancho Martinez, Angelo's, Scalini's or Penne Pommodoro in Lakewod. You can hear more Rock and Roll at Lakewood Bar and Grill (the crowd is usually older than many places) or a few doors up is the C*ck and Bull Pub which is good for dinner also or to have a little quiet vespers drink at the close of the night..
