Wal-Mart Vision Centers are not just for low-income people...many people use the centers...and they are very reputable...they just happen to have reasonable prices for eyecare

Good luck with the $38 dollar deal at walmart. I have called all over Dallas/Addison/Irving/etc... and the cheapest I have found is $85 for single vision contact exam. 1/2011 Sam's too. Sam's charges $100. If anyone has found something cheaper for a contact exam. I would love to hear it. Thanks!

I use Walmart too. I don't pay less than $100 though. There's a place in Plano I used to go to YEARS ago called Optical Clinic. You may want to give them a call. Not a high end place, very econo-type place. Here's the number I found online 972-422-2833. I hope it's still there.
