Hello! We just moved to the M Streets area from out of state and are looking for good local markets and butcher shops. We want to buy local, especially when it comes to our meat.
Thanks so much!

Quick! And get your booty over to While Rock Local Market at the Green Spot parking lot (Buckner and Northcliff). I just came from there - local meat, veg, baked goods (Empire!). They close around 1pm.

There is a place in Deep Ellum off of Elm St. but the name escapes me. It's across from Pepe and Mitos if I remember correctly.

You might want to check out Kuby's in Snider Plaza.

Also, I think there's a butcher shop down at the Farmers Market.

It's Rudolph's across from Pepe and Mito's. It's so old school in there; it's great!
