Private records of 3.5 million people exposed by Texas | Reuters

It's easy enough, unfortunately, to have your identity stolen these days. Does the Federal and State Governments have to roll out the red carpet for the thiefs? It's been out there over a year and they don't think it was misused? Hopefully there will be some accountability for this "inadvertent" release...

If I were impacted, I'd seriously consider a credit freeze right about now...
