My family and I will be at the Gaylord that week and would like to know where we can have a good thanksgiving dinner. I know the Gaylord has something but it's a little $$$$. Any ideas?

Yes, the Gaylord's Thanksgiving buffet is lovely, but it is pricey for a family.

There's a Cracker Barrel restaurant near Grapevine Mills Mall that would work. I'm pretty sure they are open on Thanksgiving.

The Hilton DFW Lakes is just down the road from the Gaylord, and I think they do a Thanksgiving buffet.
Also check the Embassy Suites in Grapevine.

Thank you very much. We have been to the Cracker Barrel there and we were thinking that would be ok.

Uncle Buck's might be a nice choice (next to Bass Pro). It has a nice atmosphere for Thanksgiving

Years ago we went to Joe's Crab Shack....$20 or so for buffet...with all the regular Tgiving stuff....and a smattering of seafood. I thought it was great value. Not sure if they do it every year or not.
Concierge should have a list of area places.
Make reservations.

My in-laws always go to a Black Eyed Pea restaurant for Thanksgiving and invite anyone to join them; they don't want leftovers or anyone to have to put themselves out so that's their preference. Its a southern cooking restaurant chain with restaurants all over the metro. Similar to Cracker Barrell.

Gaylord appears to be fully booked...at least at 2 of the 3 restaurants. The pricier of the 3 is the one I saw still had space.

You can also try the Great Wolf Lodge which is practically across the street.
alternatively:
Ruth's Chris
Saltgrass
Del Frisco Grille

If the Gaylord was too pricey, those places won't be much less...
