actually that is not a double negative--since the "for crap" is a prepositional phrase although it implies negativity or lack of results...
I think the poster meant the "for crap" to be an intensifier of the negative

a better double negative would be something like
Networking doesn't work not no how....

I have gotten every single job offer AND interview in my career through networking. If you're doing it right, it works much better than blindly emailing resumes or hoping someone sees your profile on LinkedIn. People hire people they know. Period.
