It was a good event, though very hot. Who would believe a market in the center of the street would work in Dallas? I'll be excited to see these ideas made permanent in neighborhoods around the city as we make streets more suitable for all forms of transportation (bike, pedestrian, car, bus, etc). It really helps the community develop a sense of place.

We were there for about 2 hours. Great to see people out supporting new, community friendly ideas that were good for all - singles, families, kids and dogs (the pop up dog park was really cute!).

Food options were forward thinking with Ssahm and Nammi - each had a vegetarian option. While waiting for my my tofu banh mi - I heard 4 out of 5 orders for the same (even I was surprised!). Lots of shaded seating. Fun riding the double decker bus.

Can't wait for the next installation!!
