That's a little broad don't you think? The area of Dallas that I live in is awesome. Most all of the neighbors that I know love it here as well. As it's very expensive relative to the suburbs people would leave if they didn't love it here. I would.

LOL I love 1980's Chevy Chase and that movie. I can't get left!

One of my all-time faves too despite all the ridiculous untrue stereotypes...which really helped to make the movie.

[quote=mSooner;20177652]Interesting...the article pretty much describes us. We moved to the M Streets a year ago after living in the burbs our whole lives and truly enjoy it. I like the funky stores, coffee shops, proximity to White Rock, 5 minute drive to Jimmys Food Store (and Whole Foods AND Central Market), neat restaurants, and short commute to work (at least for my husband).

Now a baby is on the way...

mSooner: Turns out your parents weren't so dumb after all eh? Congrats on the impending arrival. Best of luck.

Haha, well I never said they were dumb. We've always liked the suburbs...just wanted to try the city for awhile. It made the most sense commute-wise at the time.
