i will be moving to Dallas, only for a few months, so i dont want to have to buy furniture.. or alternatively stay in a hotel.. so could you please recommend somewhere where i could rent furniture/homewares.

Craigslist is cheap and you can resell it when your done or donate it.

or GoodWill stores or Salvation Army stores--Tuesday Morning or Ross or the 99cent store types for some things

used kitchen stuff in good condition--run it through the dishwasher with hot water and maybe a 1/4 c bleach and you are good to go
furniture you might want to rent because that saves delivery charges and hassle of getting rid of it when you go

conversely--check Craigs List for sublet condos/apts--
there are always some listed and see if you can find something for your time line
they likely will come furnished

When I first came here. There was a place called Cort furniture rental. They sold furniture and did short and long term rentals toodelivered and set up also

Another good bet is places like Studio Plus or similar...Basically a furnished apt by week or month. I have used them in the past when I travel...They are nationwide pretty much
