What Christie said... And do not fall for the commercials and "become a Medical Assistant"! Doesn't pay well and there are oodles of them out there. I have more MA resumes than I know what to do with. If you decide to go to Physical Therapist Assistant school, make sure it's really a program where you'll be licensed by the state. Check APTA.org to be certain. Don't spend money on Physical Therapy Aide programs. There is a difference.

The only PT Assistant program in DFW is at Tarrant County College. Navarro College has the closest OTA program. Wish there were more programs locally but there aren't...at least for now.

Good luck!
