Does anyone happen to know which part of Dallas GCB was filmed (perhaps extras that were on the set would know)?

I watched the commercials, and can't WAIT for the series to start!

I know they filed at Swiss Avenue and Munger Place Church. I'm not an extra, but I live in the area, have seen the crews and I recognize the area from the preview.

I believe the house the principal character will live in is the Aldrege Mansion on Swiss.

It's a new series beginning on ABC in March.

Here's the trailer.
Here's the promo.
And here's the ABC page.

It's being described as a southern Desperate Housewives. It's by the creator of Steel Magnolias and by the director from Sex And The City. Does it get any better than that?

Apparently, the pilot was filmed in Dallas, but future episodes are expected to be filmed in Hollywood.

That's unfortunate. I bet they try to pass off Pasadena as Dallas

GCB is "steamier" Dallas gossip because it's a loosely veiled autobiography of what happened when she moved back to Dallas after her own divorce. Many local gossip blogs were guessing which Dallas socialiates were which characters in the book based on Kim Gatlin's circle of friends.

Right? I would love if the entire show was filmed in Dallas.
