Hello All,

I know every one has beds (except me), just wanted to know where to get the mattress from. I already got me a nice bed, just wanted to know which is a better store? I was reading reviews about Mattress Frim in the DFW area, and most of them suggested to stay from them. So any inputs from you guys would be useful. I am guessing pricing would be just about the same in both, so customer satisfaction is what counts for me. Thanks!

Sear's? I saw their online prices, and they seemed a bit high!

I bought my mattress set at The Dump 6 years ago, got a good deal on it relatively speaking...but mattresses are one of the biggest ripoffs in terms of markup.

Even if they're on sale, bargain with the sales staff. I did when I bought my set.

I agree they are. I am looking for a firm mattress, because of my constant back pain problem. And most of the mattresses along with box springs are coming to something $900 and above. And getting a king bed is another rip off!

It maybe a one time investment. But a hefty one.

Try a flexible tempurpedic. Like sleeping in a recliner - outstanding position for your back! My queen cost $2.5K about 6 yrs ago, don't know what they sell for now. Any Relax The Back stores in the area?

we were at sleep experts store in Plano, and was surprised how the sales lady initially quoted $4500 for a king comforpedic and then reduced all the way to $3800+ tax and added free delivery + any 4 pillows ($120 each).... was wondering how much margin they had on these beds and how negotiable on price?

Who knows! I bought Tempurpedic, just because their prices and incentives are same everywhere so you have comfort of knowing that everyone is overpaying. :-)

I've heard (from others who own these beds) that they make sex somewhat difficult and....much more aerobic. Like doing it in quicksand.

One lady advised me that pillow top is the way to go for sexual pleasure! But i need a firm bed for back support. Cant sacrifice my back for sex.

Tempurpedic at this point of time is out of my budget. Maybe next year.

Lets see, i am planning to go to the sleep experts store tomorrow. Also have the dump in mind. But heard that they are open only 3 days a week.
