I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent mattress store in town? Basically I'm looking for a place that has fast delivery and won't rip you off. Any suggestions?

We bought one from the Weir's Outlet located behind Cafe Madrid off Travis at Armstrong. Not ripped off and easily delivered.

There are several depending on where you live. I bought two mattresses, my first one from a place called Mattress Store. It sucked!!! A month later I bought the replacement (they delivered fast and even took away the crappy one free) from Mattress Giant (it was in front of the other store). I think both are chains.

The later store was better, but they charged a lot for delivery. I learned my lesson though, pay extra for a good mattress and delivery, it isn't worth getting a cheap mattress that you have to use every night because then you won't be comfortable...

Sorry for the thread snatching, but where can you find good beds? I'm heavy (190-200 lbs ish) and like mattresses that are relatively firm, but not uncomfortable, and not to hard for my 120 lbs fiancé.

I'd prefer to keep it under $3000, but could possibly go higher if it's absolutely needed, though no more than $5000

You might want to try one of those sleep number bed then.

I have two sets of friends who had/have it. One says its the best thing ever, and the other, said it was the biggest POS ever. Give it a test drive in the store. I think they have a 90 day return policy.

We bought a solid foam rubber mattress at
SleepCraft in Lewisville. Were happy with them. Ikea also has nice mattresses at good rates

Best thing to do is shop around and compare comfort, guarantees, and quality of construction.

BTW - stay away from Sleep Experts. I am speaking from personal experience.
