Of course all of this goes in AFTER we move...

Though I have to say, being asked if I wanted my groceries carried out at the Sprouts in Coppell was a nice change from hoping I didn't get mugged in the Newflower Parking lot.

Tradeoffs everywhere.

Has there been trouble at Sunflower? I've never seen anything questionable going on.

MSooner, maybe that's why the rent went up $200! There's another large retail development brewing where Fitzhugh and Bennett split just east of Central.

Seems like too many grocery stores in one small area to me. Like a grocery store gladiator arena. Hope some of their stores can be repurposed a few years from now.

Yes, please tell. Robberies in the Abrams/Mockingbird Tom Thumb parking lot, yes. But do tell of the trouble at Sunflower...

And don't forget Lincoln Properties is working on landing a grocer wth the properties they're buying at Garland/Gaston. The latest news is that the Y will be temporarily moving to the 2nd story of the place across the street this fall where they will be located until their new property just west on Gaston is built. To me, this indicates that Lincoln is ready to start construction on the site.

That's not a small area, the section of Greenville he's referring to goes for miles.

I've never personally had any issues, but I always noticed the cop hanging out at the front of the store anytime after dark. (which was nice). It's on the edge of an area I would worry about being at after dark and felt the need to be extra vigilant. I never felt all that safe loading my car with groceries when I had the kiddo with me and it was dark outside.
