Haggard Estates isn't in west Plano. Those kids attend Plano Senior. That's the first new construction in PSHS in at least 7-8 years, AFAIK.

You can find price range for each from the related link. By the way Plano West Sr High is 2nd in Texas, 12th in nation's comprehensive schools and 63rd in all schools. Pretty good for a school that must enroll every one who applies.

Big G is right about Haggard Estates. That area feeds to Plano Sr.

More specifically, "from high 300s". That range will get you one of the zero-lot-line homes, and really over $400k for what you want. The regular lot homes in Haggard Estates likely will be in the $500k range. Might be a tough sell for the Plano Senior zone. Or maybe not - the PISD part of Canyon Creek feeds to PSHS, and there are even a handful of $750k homes there.

The west Plano developments are one area of fairly small town homes in the high $200s, and a variety of SFH from, realistically, $600k and (way) up. The town homes feed to Frankford MS in Dallas, which is sub-optimal.

Of course any new community feeding into West or sr is going to be expensive but obviously people who are buying there are fine paying the premium. Personally, I think that existing homes are a much better value but you know there is a huge demand for new homes feeding to West & Sr.

I just don't know if there's a large pool of people willing to pay Plano West prices for Plano Senior schools. Then again, people have been doing that for years for Plano East schools, in places like Parker and Richardson.

Willow Bend Park has new townhomes in West Plano. Feed to West Plano Sr High, starting at $460k near Park and Parkwood intersection. Builder is Hawkins-Welwood. As mentioned, pricy per SF and not single family but nice for someone wanting tonew construction and little yard in West Plano
