North Dallasites often refer to Tupinamba's as "Tupy's". It's the only one I know of; I don't know of a Frisco location, don't care. The one I'm talking about is on Inwood, and it sucks.

Seeing as you don't care. I'll just leave this here. I never went to the one on Inwood. I drove past it a lot but never heard a complaint from any of my coworkers who ate there a lot.

I always went here:
Mexican Restaurants In Frisco Tx - Tupy's Mexican Restaurants In Frisco Tx

*shrug*

Every time I've been there it has been d-bag central with lots of crying babies, slow service, dirty floors, sticky tables (they use the same filthy rag on every table...shine a black light on them sometime), etc. It's a hovel. I wouldn't eat there if you paid me.

There is a Tupy's (that is their official name), it is run by the son of the Tupinamba's owner. Tupy's is in Frisco. I was simply clearifying your comments about Tupinamba's which do not match my experience with Tupy's in Frisco - I do not disagree with your comments on the Inwood location.

Clarity for readers of these posts is a good thing. Relax I was not trying to be critical of your post but was clarifying to the best of ability. If it came across as criticism of you, I did not intend for it to but appolgize to you.

I would vote Rafas, abuelos, or Cantina Laredo. Mi Cocina is good, but I think those places are better. (Rafas is a kinda a dive across from Inwood Village)
