I think the last time I saw them on our windows was like 4 or 5 years ago. I do wonder what has happened in the environment to bring them up again.

They are starting to arrive in Lake Highlands now. I got about 500 on my patio screen, but zero on the window. I'm guessing they can't hold on to the slick window.

Thanks for making this thread and letting me know it's just not me dealing with this little flies. I have them in my office and apartment also. They're harmless but annoying.

I get these bugs every year. Hate them as it does pose a problem for me. I like to be able to turn off the A/C
and open my windows. I do it anyway and just use my dust buster to suck them up every couple of days.
